 A native of Aix en Provence, France, Christian developed a love affair with food at an early age, working the kitchen with his first mentor: his mother. Upon completion of culinary school, he apprenticed under several well-known chefs in the south of France before moving to the United States in 1986, working in several Los Angeles area restaurants such as Le Marmiton, Bistro Garden and Ma Maison.
Since 1996, Â A Food Affair has been hired to oversee a variety of events, ranging from intimate sit down dinners, to large scale affairs of up to 2000 people. Consummate professionals, A Food Affair catering works closely with clients, coordinating every aspect of events with superlative food and ambiance.
